The service processes temporary mailbox addresses, incoming email content, and the minimum operational data needed to run the service, prevent abuse, and preserve stability.

We do not request your real name, personal email password, or payment details for public mailbox usage.

3. How data is used

Data is used to provision mailboxes, receive messages, display inboxes, apply rate limiting, and support operational security.

4. Data retention

Active mailboxes and related messages are automatically removed after the service retention window ends. For the public mailbox product, the standard active period is up to 7 days after the first incoming email.

5. Security

TempMailBase uses TLS, Cloudflare protections, request throttling, and abuse controls to keep the service secure and stable.

6. Third-party services

We may rely on infrastructure vendors and third-party identity services for specific features such as developer API access. Each external service operates under its own privacy policy.

7. Cookies and local storage

The public mailbox experience uses browser localStorage for theme, language, and active mailbox preferences. Developer features may use additional secure sessions for authentication.
